Architecture centers on Aethel Spire—crystalline royal palace glowing with magical energy visible across city. The air sparkles with concentrated wards; weather magically controlled to remain perfect. Royal family occupies Royal Estates surrounding spire. Royal family members attend Royal Academy of High Magic (Ring 3) for elite education. Royal Gardens provide ethereal beauty and spaces for secret negotiations. Only 5,000 people live here—royal family, servants, Royal Guard. Residents exempt from many laws governing rest of Aethoria. The Queen possesses Tier 6 magic, making her Aethoria's most powerful mage. Throne of Rings amplifies ruler's connection to kingdom's magic. Hidden beneath Aethel Spire are ancient vaults containing artifacts predating kingdom. Time flows slightly differently in Crown.
